Off the coast of Maspalomas lies Gran Canaria's vast desert area.
Here, the large sand dunes rise in all sorts of different formations and shadows.
Fortunately, the large sand dunes are right by the sea and can be conveniently combined with a refreshing swim. There are plenty of parking options close to the area, and lots of restaurants within walking distance.
The outstanding dunes can also be experienced at the back of a camel,
